Gülay and I arrived this morning in Penang. After hanguing out for a while at my hostel, the Red Inn Heritage guesthouse where we chat a a nice Indian guy, he warns us about Penang, it can be dangerous to walk alone here, even during day time. We head out to drop the bags of Gülay at her hostel, not knowing that we woulb be travelling together, we booked each our bed in different hostels. The guys at House of Journey Hostel are super friendly, they give us advices on where to eat and what to do. We go out in search of a Chinese restaurant we got the address. Shoot, it's not yet open, in fact, everything seems to be close around. No worries, we also got the address of an Indian restaurant.
Bloated, that's what we are after we leave the restaurant. The food was delicious! A bit on the pricey side but worth it. I'm hoping to find some durian, in vain.
