First morning in Svalbard. The rain and wind give us an idea of the arctic summer.
After breakfast, we decide to walk the 2 km to town. The winds are strong and we reach town freezing, tired and black from coal dust. We are for sure far from our comfort zone! We find a Thai restaurant with affordable lunch. Thai burger and pizza to warm ourselves.
On our way back, rain is strong and we get a ride to the campsite.
