Slovenia: Travelling to Bled

Tuesday 15th of July

Day 3:

We take a bus from Ljubljana to Bled. Bled is a touristic town, very popular for its lake and castle. We will be staying in Bled for five days, needless to say that I am not very thrilled to stay in a touristic place in the middle of the summer... but I have planned some day trips in the nearby mountains.

Slovenia: Ljubljana

Monday 14th of July

Day 2:

Today, we will spend the whole day exploring Ljubljana. I am not a city person, but Ljubljana is a beautiful city with a village feel. 

Slovenia: Arriving in Ljubljana.

Sunday 13th of July

Day 1: 

After a long bus ride from Mestre, Italy, we arrive in Ljubljana railway station. It is a sunday, so the city is very quiet. We get to our hostel called Student residence, the cheapest accommodation I could find. It is right in the middle of the city. We walk around the city and up to the castle.
