| The View from my bed |
I wake up once again before sunrise. I walk a few meters to reach the water. I take a few shots and run to the bathroom to change into my bikini. I swim a few hours, I am totally alone on the beach.
Je me reveille encore une fois avant le levé du soleil. Je marche quelques mêtre pour rejoindre le bord de l'eau. Je prend quelques photos puis cours à la salle de bain pour me mettre en maillot. Je nage pendant quelques heures, je suis totalement seule sur la plage.
Later that day, while swimming I met Sabrina a Swiss girl also traveling alone. We hang around a bit and make plans for an evening swim together. She returns to the shore and I stay in the water for a while.
Plus tard dans la même journée, je rencontre Sabrine, une suisse qui voyage solo. On parle un peu en se prelassant dans l'eau. On fait des plan pour la soirée et elle repart sur la plage.

I meet Martin, a Swiss guy with who Sabrina has been hanguing out. We decide to head out to eat together. I bring them to the same family restaurant I ate yesterday. I will order a seafood dish with Kampot pepper. the grains of pepper are flavorsome, yammyam!
Je rejoins Sabrina et fais la conaissance de Martin un autre suisse avec qui Sabrina a passé la journée. On decide de manger tous ensemble, je les emmene au restaurant familial dans lequel j'ai mangé la veille. Je commande un plat de fruit de mer au poivre de Kampot. Un delice, les grains de poivre sont delicieux.

After diner, we hurry back to the dorm to get our camera and shoes, we planned to hike to the other side of the island to catch the sunset, sunset at Lazy Beach! We are late on the program, we try to hurry, we are still not sure how long exactly does the hike through the jungle take. We reach the beach just in time for a wonderful show.
Aprés le dinner, on se depeche d'aller chercher nos appareil photo et chaussure, nous avons l'intention de voir le coucher du soleil de l'autre coté de l'île à Lazy Beach. On est un peu en retard, tant pis on essaie de marcher rapidement, pas trop sûr de la durée totale de la randonnée à travers la jungle. On arrive a la plage juste a temps pour un coucher de soleil grandiose.
The sea is rough on this side of the island. We make our way through the waves, having fun like kids, until the sun comes down. We hike back in the darkness of the jungle, I'm glad I met those two because I'm pretty sure I would never have wanted to hike this alone in the night. :D
La mer est agitée de ce coté de l'île. On se fraye un chemin a travers les vague, et on patauge comme des gamins jusqu'au coucher du soleil. On retourne dans la jungle, nos lampe de poche fixés sur le chemin, je suis bien contente d'avoir rencontré Martin et Sabrina, sans eux je n'aurais jamais osé traverser la jungle seule dans la nuit. :D

Back in Saracen Bay, we stop to have a couple of beers and a papaya salad in a bar. Then we head to the sea for a night swim, the plankton is here...
De retour à Saracen Bay, on s'arréte a un bar pour quelques bières et une salade de papaye. Puis baignade nocturne dans une mer qui fourmille de plankton...
