Friday 11th of July
Day 1:
In the idea to get to Bled, Slovenia for a wedding, we will be spending a few days in Italy and then head on to Slovenia.
The plane ticket for Ljubljana being too pricey, we will fly with Norwegian air to Venice and from there catch a bus to Ljubljana. I am not very enthusiastic about going to Slovenia in the summer, but I am still hoping that we will be able to visit beautiful natural sights and eat great food.
We arrived in Mestre the 11th of July, it is hot, Mestre is busy, polluted and dirty. I cannot believe that it is the city that borders the ancient and beautiful Venice.
Eager to have a taste of Italian cheese and fresh fruits, we head to the supermarket, from where we will get our diner. We are staying in a nice and "cheap" hotel in the city.
