I love Yule.
I love the lights and the decorations,
I love the chilling touch of winter,
I love the fireside atmosphere of the indoors,
I love the citrusy scent of freshly peeled oranges in the air,
doubled with the smell of hot red wine, cloves and cinnamon.
So naturally, I love Obernai and its cute christmasy village. I actually ate the best stew I have ever had, Civet de Sanglier in La Halle aux Blés. I still salivate when I think of it.
Accommodation: Hotel de la Cloche, Obernai. Building full of history, even though we had the simple room.
